One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest Part 1
As we have been reading this first section of the book there is a lot of question one can have lingering in their minds about the ward, and about the main character. Although, off the start you quickly learn how the chief is treated by the staff, and the positions of the different groups that the broken humans fit into you don't find out why he is there. You learn that the chief pretends to be deaf, and dumb but you wonder what the true reason he is there for. His flashbacks don't help the audience much because they often are very short, and confusing to see how his short visions deal with the storyline. Another thing I would wish to learn more about is how the place works. Some mysterious things tend to happen for no reason that is hard to understand why would the ward do these random things. One thing, for example, is the fog like clouds that fill the room near the beginning. Whats even more confusing it trying to figure out whether things are real, and just what the chief sees. He seems fine mentally, but it is through his perspective and what he sees may not turn out be what is the actually reality. So there are some question that are left on my mind after reading the first part.
